Controversial Kenyan Gospel artist Willy Paul has dropped a new audio titled Nisamehe.
Despite the endless critics; back and forth between him and the Kenyan fans, Willy Paul still manages to thrive in the music industry. The Kenyan artist is currently working on a major collabo with Jamaican Artist Samantha J famously known for her “Tight Skirt’song.
Last year, he made it on the list of the Mdundo awards winner 2018 with the Most Downloaded Single 2017 and the most downloaded Gospel Artist 2017
Among latest achievements, Willy Paul bagged the award for ‘Video of the Year’ at the 2018 Groove Awards for his song ‘Jigi Jigi’.
Although this was a dream come true.. since he had desired the award for a long time, he gave it to Weezdom Music who happens to be his close friend.
He first gained recognition after recording the song Sitolia with Gloria Muliro. Willy Paul was named male artist of the year at the 2013 Groove Awards alongside his mentor Gloria Muliro who took the female artist of the year award.
Some of the songs he is famously known for are… Sitolia, Kitanzi ,You never Know and I do which have earned him international fame, including a famous tour of the US where he performed in different churches in several States.
