In the aftermath of the heinous murder of controversial billionaire Business Mogul Jacob Juma in 2015, Mohammed Ali, who is fondly known as Moha Jichopevu, due to his investigative piece, went hard on former DCI Ndegwa Muhoro asking him to explain why William Ruto had not been questioned over the murder.

Ruto’s name had adversely been mentioned by the slain businessman himself and even Cyrus Jirongo in the lead up to the murder.

More than three years later, and almost everyone has forgotten Jacob Juma, except maybe his family and ironically, Mohammed Ali is now a politician who is working closely with the Deputy President, the man he wanted questioned.

So what happened? Why did the former investigative journalist change tune? Moha has been at the DP’s side during his numerous visits to the coast this year, for mostly church Harambees.

Kenyans have criticized the youthful MP for working with the man who was recently ranked as the most corrupt public servant still in office.

You see, Mohammed Ali, was elected to office to serve the impunity he is now associating himself with.

But the Nyali MP, has come out to defend himself saying that he is only working with Ruto because he wants development for his constituents.

This is according to activist Boniface Mwangi, who has said he spent more than five hours with the MP on Saturday where they discussed a wide range on issues on how Ali has faired in his first year in parliament.

According to Mwangi, the MP is desperate to make a difference in parliament but no one is willing to work with him.

“He told me about the stories of bribery in Parliament and how parliamentary journalists must be bribed to write certain stories. Almost every single MP is corrupt and he said he finds himself totally isolated.”

Mwangi said on his official Facebook page.

“What Moha desperantly wants is allies to work with and expose the rot within Parliament and in the Government. He said Kenyans deserve to know the truth, but he can’t fight alone.”

Mwangi however blasted the MP for hanging out with the DP.

“Trust is like virginity; you lose it once, and Moha lost our trust after he started hanging out and praising William Samoei Ruto, a man perceived by Kenyans to be the most corrupt politician in office today.”

Moha has however come out to tell Mwangi that he does not need his validation.
