Sprint legend Usain Bolt scored his first goals in professional football after starting up in a pre-season game for Australia Central mariners. This was the first goal for the Jamaican 100m race all time record breaker as they faced Macarthur South West United.

Usain Bolt who always showed interest for football when he was still running is now officially a football star. Usain before joining Mariners he showed so much interest for playing for the English Champions Manchester United which he never got a chance.
Eight time Olympic medallist Usain Bolt through his agent agreed to join the A league after a mutual agreement with the club. This happened after several trials in which he managed to be picked.
Earlier Bolt had trialled with German giants Borussia Dortmund and Stomsgodset in Norway.
” The owner of the Central Coast Mariners had put his hand deep in his pocket and guaranteed Bolt 70% of the salary. This comes after Mielekamp said Bolt was known to improve significantly every time he trained and was an extremely fast learner.
