A section of Kenyans has urged youth leaders within the country to learn from Bobi Wine for his intriguing passion for his country, justice and liberation. This comes days after the Bobi Wine’s trip to Kenya after he was invited by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who had earlier revealed that Bobi Wine will be accompanied by a delegation of young Ugandans MPs on his visit.
During his interview on one of the Kenyan local TV Station, Kenyans shamed the youth leaders in Kenya and asked them to borrow some skills from the celebrated Ugandan MP Bobi Wine. A section of Kenyans feel that the youth leaders in Kenya have failed the young people in so many ways and should re-look on their leadership.
Babu Owino had earlier stated that Bobi Wine’s visit was in response to an invitation he sent as Secretary General of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association out of profound respect for the role Hon. Kyagulanyi plays in inspiring young people across the continent,”
The expectation, during his 5 day visit, was that the young MPs engage on how to advance democracy across Africa and improve participation of young people in governance.
Kenyans believe that with more people who are as determined and unashamed of Justice as Bobi Wine, Kenya would now be free from corruption and poor leadership.
The biggest let down in Kenyan elected leadership has been the youth. From Sakaja to Babu Owino, Jaguar to Moha, you name them… they have failed the youth, thats why Bobi Wine is such a sensation
But most importantly, we should never elect anyone on ‘youth’ basis.

You are so right. That’s why I don’t understand why Babu Owino can sit in the same bench with Bobi Wine. Waste of quality time. A man who cant explain his wealth and has no respect insults everyone.

Babu Owino used money and Raila’s influence to get elected.
Bobi Wine used the people.
Babu Owino should STOP comparing himself to Bobi Wine.
Our young MPs are a disgrace.#JKLive
The only liberator I can identify with in Kenya is @MigunaMiguna !— Peter Evans (@PeterEvans254) October 11, 2018
Bobi look humble unlike Babu who is full of pride…..I wish we could get more Bobis than Babus in Kenya

Bobi Wine has stood out as a leader that fights for his country even to the extent of putting his life at risk and this might be a major reason as to why he is applauded in Kenya than how Kenyan youth leaders are. Kenyans on twitter have challenged leaders to look upto him as a guide to what true leadership means. Even as the Ugandan MP is celebrated, Kenyans have be faulted for celebrating Bobi Wine yet doing nothing, and not participating fully in regard to the fight against corruption.
Too much hypocrisy along these streets. Kenyans celebrating Bobi Wine for standing up against Museveni ,but in their own country they cheer on bad governance and brutality on those who share different political ideologies and even on innocent children. We hate ourselves ths much?
