The burial ceremony of legendary musician Joseph Kamaru was set for Thursday at Kaharati, Murang’a County.
President Kenyatta arrived for the funeral service at Muthithi Primary School.

He was received by Deputy President William Ruto.
Other leaders at the venue include Opposition leader Raila Odinga, MPs Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Wangari Mwaniki (Kigumo), Mary Waithira (Maragua) and Eng Ngugi Ndwati (Gatanga).

Muranga Woman Rep Sabina Chege as well as former MPs Maina Kamanda, Peter Kenneth and William Kabogo are also present.
As political tensions rocked the country in the previous days , Kenyans were keen as leaders from both the opposition and the ruling jubilee party met at the burial of the Benga musician.
But the unexpected happened.
