Jacque Maribe’s friend, neighbor and a college mate Bryan Kassaine has now turned into a state witness and will provide the prosecution with testimonies that resulted to the horrific murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. Kassaine, who has been a third suspect in the murder of the slain Monica Kimani, was arrested on October 1 by detectives who believed that he might have something to offer in the murder charges.

According to a report by the Daily Nation, investigators are hoping that Mr. Kassaine will help the court identify the person involved in the burning of the clothes (White kanzu) Mr. Irungu was wearing, which in their case, say was the destruction of evidence and concealment of a crime.

Police will also be relying on the 35-year old, to give evidence about his gun, a Ceska, which was used in an alleged suicide attempt by Mr. Irungu who allegedly shot himself in the chest inside Ms. Maribe’s Royal Park Estate house on September 21, at around 1am.
