Who is Willy Paul Willy Paul /Wilson Shikwekwe Abubakar Radido is a popular Kenyan gospel singer and songwriter from Kasarani, Nairobi. He is the founder of Saldido records. He has won Groove Awards multiple times for his awesome creations. Sitolia, Kitanzi and You Never Know are some of the awesome tracks from his discography. Early life Willy was born on 1st September 1993 in Area 3 Mathare slums. His father was a carpenter and his mother was a salonist. He dropped out of school in his last year and supported his family with his music. At an early age, he confronted a lot of troubles after his father’s death. Even before that, when his father was alive, he encountered a lot of problems due to financial problems of his family. His first brother was an Electrical Engineering graduate but he never found a job. Willy was a fan of Bongo music for a long time so he decided to sing gospel. He told in his interview with Daily Nation that: “God told me in a dream that is the style I should use”. After this, he decided to sing and write some songs.
