This is why Ayacko may carry the day in Migori by-elections

Migori senatorial by-elections are scheduled to take place on October 8, 2018.

This is after the seat was declared vacant following the death of Senator Ben Oluoch in June.

A tough competition is being witnessed between ODM’s Ochilo Ayacko and Federal Party’s Eddy Oketch.

Many believe that in all by-elections where ODM is involved, Party leader Raila Odinga has always campaigned for the Party candidate.

They say whether ODM are vying against a 10 or 27 year old, Odinga has always shown support for the candidate.

In this case, Ayacko is competing against the 27 year old Oketch.

On Thursday and Friday Odinga will be on ground campaigning for Ayacko.

The Party allies led by its party leader Raila Odinga and his deputy Mombasa governor Hassan Ali Joho have been in the County moving the masses to vote in Ayacko.

Earlier on, the Party’s Secretary general Edwin Sifuna and Siaya senator James Aggrey Orengo had camped in Migori to ensure that their candidate wins.

On Tuesday, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho moved around the county with masses to have Ayacko Voted in come October 8.

Joho has been in the area since Monday after he traveled along with Suna East Member of Parliament Junnet Mohamed.
