ODM Party led by its key leaders and allies has been camping in Migori campaigning for Ayacko, whom some people say has been insulted by ODM.

Some say ODM Party has been forcing candidates on them over a long period of time.

Lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna who was deported to Toronto, Canada in March this year now wants Eddy Oketch in the upcoming Migori county Senatorial by-elections.

The Migori senatorial seat was declared vacant by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission after the Senator Ben Oluoch succumbed to cancer early this year.

Miguna wrote what he termed as a humble appeal to Migori people via his official twitter account to wake up early on October 8, 2018 and vote in Eddy Oketch.

Miguna argues that other candidates in the race are just but mere lies, propaganda and perennial violence.

He has urged Migori voters to reject ODM Party’s Ochilo Ayacko.

Miguna’s request follows ODM Party’s efforts to campaign for their candidate Ayacko.

The Party allies led by its party leader Raila Odinga and his deputy Mombasa governor Hassan Ali Joho have been in the County moving the masses to vote in Ayacko.

Earlier on, the Party’s Secretary general Edwin Sifuna and Siaya senator James Aggrey Orengo had camped in Migori to ensure that their candidate wins.

On Tuesday, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho moved around the county with masses to have Ayacko Voted in come October 8.

Joho has been in the area since Monday after he traveled along with Suna East Member of Parliament Junnet Mohamed.
