Why fans think ‘Carter V’ will win the sales over ‘Yadhi’

“We have been on a weezy drought since 2013” This was a fans response on a question that was posed by Forbes on their twitter page on who will win the sales race. Lil wayne’s  previous album which was released in 2011 ‘Tha Carter IV’, sold 964,000 copies in its first week of availability in the United States.

Kanye West on the other hand has released 2 albums since June and not so many people seem to be excited with his new album.  West, also known as Ye, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer. A rapper with countless awards won. He has also shown a sense of consistency in his music since he became famous from the 2000’s.

In Wayne’s new album, some of the artists who are featured in  ‘CarterV’ include American recording artist and rapper XXXtentacion who was murdered a couple of months ago. Also featuring is Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar among other artists. He released his album two days before  Kanye West.

Kanye West was set to release his album ‘Yandhi’ yesterday and  anticipations are that his new album includes features from XXXTentacion, 6ix9ine & Ty Dolla. West also changed his stage name yesterday ahead of the album release. There is still no signs of the album as fans have been asking about it and where they can get it.

Another reason given by the fans is that now dominating is Wayne’s album. Fans also advised that Ye should release his album on 2 nd October which will be on Ghandi’s birthday. Kanye has however not responded to these suggestions and it seems all silent as others are waiting for the album release.

Some have expressed themselves saying that West’s album is likely to flop. We can not be sure though bet we all waiting until the album is out; both of them have factors working for them and against them.
