Fiance to TV journalist Jacque Maribe, Joseph Kuria Irungu, popularly known as Jowie, has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Ms Monica Kimani in Kilimani.
He was arrested as suspect to the murder as police could not corroborate a shooting incident he reported at Lang’ata Police Station. In the report, Irungu claims he had been attacked and shot at the gate of the apartment along Dennis Pritt road where Monica lived last week on Thursday.
A senior police officer at Kilimani intimated to us that an inquiry was launched immediately after the lady was killed.
The brother told police they had to break into the house having failed to get a response after knocking several times.
Jacque and Jowi got engaged in a private event in late July. According to inner sources, the man is a security personnel in Qatar. But photos shared on Social Media prove that the man is a bad boy, or in other words just a gangster.
Maribe’s fiancee is also a licensed gun holder. Having said that, here are photos that show the gangster side of the man, could it be the reason why Maribe chose her?
