Several days ago, Kenyans held demonstration today as they march in the streets of Meru calling for justice over the murder of Maribel. The demonstrators have said that their actions are to ensure the perpetrators of this heinous act are brought to book.
The body of Maribel Kapolon, a daughter of Meru Senior Resident Magistrate Carol Kemei, was found dumped at Gitoro Forest in Meru weeks ago.
