Rangers fans dubbed ‘best in world’ for Villarreal support as European fight continues

RANGERS supporters have received praise for their part in last night’s emphatic performance to ensure their unbeaten European campaign continues.

watched his side get off to a difficult start as Carlos Bacca opened the scoring after just 44 seconds.

But Villarreal were punished for missing chances and Scott Arfield equalised with his first  Rangers goal shortly after the hour mark.

The party did not last longer than two minutes though, as Gerard Moreno came on as a substitute for the La Liga side and scored what looked like the winner.

But Kyle Lafferty emerged a hero for the Ibrox outfit, finishing a brilliant team goal just 15 minutes from full time,  securing a 2-2 draw.

And  Rangers fans certainly enjoyed the night out.

The fans were  in full voice,  singing the famous Allez, Allez, Allez chant and appear to be very pleased with their side’s performance.

 

And football fans were quick to react.

 

“Scottish fans absolutely going for it, they have more fun than anyone else,” one claimed.

Another added: “Best fans in the world.”

And a third simply stated: “F***ing amazing.”

Rangers will return to league action this Sunday when they welcome St Johnstone to Ibrox Stadium.

Their next European game will come against Rapid Vienna on October 4.
