Arsenal new keeper really frustrated at Emirates

Arsenal new summer signing Bernd Leno admits that he has been left frustrated by his start to life at Emirates following limited game time since making the switch.

Leno joined Arsenal from German club Bayer Leverkusen back in July and is yet to start any English Premier League (EPL) game. Leno, however, got his first start in the 4-2 win over Ukranian outfit Vorskla in a UEFA Europa League game. Many have called for Leno to start ahead of Petr Cech following the latter’s inability to play the ball from the back.

When asked whether he is frustrated by lack of game time Leno replied, “Of course, because I came to the club to play every game. But I think to move to a bigger club, another country, it needs maybe a little bit of time. It is a little bit frustrating but I keep calm and work very hard to improve. I  think my performances in training are good. I train very hard and maybe it needs a little bit of time. I keep calm. My chance will come.”

Leno also added that the EPL is better compared to Bundesliga, “I came for the Premier League. I think it is the best league. The Bundesliga is good but the Premier League is better so I will look forward to playing anytime in the Premier League.”
