EXPOSED: Reasons Why Varsity Freshmen flee back home After Admissions

Some University first year students have been fleeing back home on several occasions shortly after their admissions in respective schools.

From a notice passed to Moi University continuing students by the administration, reports have reached the school from parents claiming that their sons have gone back home after being “exiled” by their continuing colleagues.

The notice that was hanged on the school’s notice board on Monday 17th Sept 2018 said that those continuing students sharing rooms with “freshers” have been bringing in their female partners to spend nights in the rooms.

This is contrary to the varsity rules of 10 to 1o, which allows female students to visit male hostels from 10 am to 10 pm.

The notice passed a stun warning to continuing students with the stated behaviors who are also said to have been harassing first year students.

The administration further noted that the report from the parents was not only embarrassing but also uncalled for in any institution in Kenya.
