Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has urged Kenyans on Twitter to stop trolling him over his remarks towards President Uhuru Kenyatta’s announcement on Friday 14th 2018.
The President announced the reduction of the 16% VAT tax on fuel products to 8% which would slightly cut the fuel price.
Khalwale took to twitter to congratulate the president on his announcement, citing that he was in agreement with the move as he noted that the president had understood the state of the nation.
Listening to his tone en words, am persuaded that @UKenyatta has come to terms with the gravity of the state of our nation. Mr President, am 100% with u on ua anti-corruption crusade & am pleased that u have seriously reflected on the 16% fuel levy. Kudos! pic.twitter.com/tYAJY7O4K0

However, Kenyans on twitter did not buy Khalwale’s remarks but instead went on to troll him over his remarks to Uhuru’s announcement.
Just send your CV to @UKenyatta and stop all these madness

Don’t become another Mwinyambi. The one you pointed out on JKL is enough for now

Boni the guy said he has heard the cry of Kenyans. Is he God? Where does he live? Did he not know the gravity of this tax? He talked as if he doesn’t know his citizenry. This is all a charade choreographed for the fellow to appear like a saviour. It’s Rubbish.

The bull fighter had again to take to his twitter handle to express his disappointments in Kenyans as he insisted that he was the first one to call for the tax reduction during a live Tv Interview in one of the local Tv stations.
Amazing KOT! Now some are trolling me for acknowledging @UKenyatta over his yesterday’s speech, yet I was the first to call for VAT reduction when I was debating Mwinyambi on #Newsnight…
