Salah called in Egypt despite recent fights

Liverpool’s forward Mo Salah has been included in Egypt’s 26-man team to play Niger in Group J AFCON Qualifier on September 9th, 2018.

Despite a recent spat with Egypt’s FA over image rights, Salah has been called up by coach, Javier Aguirre as the Pharaoh’s aim to win and move up the group after a defeat to Tunisia last year.

Veteran goalkeeper Hossam El Hadary has not been picked after announcing retirement just after the 2018 World Cup tournament. He retired from international football at the age of 45.
