Activist Boniface Mwangi has endorsed Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana as his choice for Presidency in 2022.
According to Mwangi, Governor Kibwana has shown exemplary corruption free leadership in running the Makueni County affairs and therefore deserves a chance to lead Kenyans.
‘I am hoping @governorkibwana will run for President! His corrupt free leadership in Makueni is enough proof that he can make a good president. If he doesn’t vie, we shall #FagiaWote’ Mwangi posted on his Twitter handle.

The activist was replying to one of his followers who had requested him to vie for Presidency and take activist Okiya Omtatah as his running mate.

Mwangi is a big admirer of the way Makueni County Government runs its affairs.
“The Makueni County government is run by the people, through public participation and they decide what they want prioritised. People first! Once the project is complete, the community must approve work done before a contractor is paid.” he said in August.

But his latest endorsement will come as a big blow to Deputy President William Ruto who is the only candidate to have publicly declared his interest in occupying the State House.
Ruto and Mwangi do not see eye to eye. In 2016, Ruto sued the activist for defamation. Mwangi vied for for Starehe Constituency MP in the past election but lost to musician Charles Njagua.
