Controversial lawyer and self proclaimed NRM General has surprisingly come out to defend Kerinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru.
Miguna said that Waiguru cannot be more corrupt than retired President Daniel Moi as it was revealed by IPSOS Synovate.
IPSOS ranked Waiguru as the second most corrupt Kenyan at 31% ahead of Third placed Daniel Moi at 17%. Deputy President William Ruto was ranked as the most corrupt at 33%. The survey has evoked mixed reactions from Ruto and Waiguru with both of them threatening to sue Synovate.
In an interview on the Jeff Koinange Live show on Wednesday night, Waiguru questioned the validity of a recent the poll that ranked her ahead of Moi in the corruption index.
She said: “It (the poll) also ranked me above the former President Moi, who ruled this country for 24 years… I mean, how ridiculous can it get? Everybody knows what we think about the Moi era. Are you saying that I stole more than Moi?”

And her sentiments have been defended by Miguna, who also believes that Moi is in the Super League of corruption ahead of Waiguru.
“For the first time I agree with one of the embodiments of the culture of impunity @AnneWaiguru: No one with a functioning brain and memory can claim that she is more corrupt than Daniel arap Moi. Moi, Jomo Kenyatta and their families have stolen trillions of shillings. Arrest Moi.” Miguna said through his Twitter handle.
