The Red Devils coach Mourinho has faced questions about his future after his side crashed to a 3-2 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion. He is under pressure to deliver the goods after a trophyless season last time out.

But Manchester United’s failure to land Mourinho’s top transfer targets ensured a stormy summer at Old Trafford. Mourinho is among the bookies’ favourites to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post. And, according to sources, the dressing room doubt whether he will still be in charge by the time the January transfer window rolls around. It is claimed Mourinho has told pals he is frustrated by developments at Old Trafford.
