Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja on Saturday chauffeured the wedding of a man who had been rejected by his fiancee for being poor. Worshippers of Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu were treated to a rare sight when the Nairobi Senator became the couple’s driver.
Sakaja had promised Mwaura that he will offer him his car for his wedding.The Senator had made it clear that he will attend the wedding but did not mention anything about driving the couple there.
Sakaja had come to the man’s rescue after being told of his predicament during a church service last month.
He offered the man Sh50,000 to cater for his wedding plans in the future.The Jubilee party politician further promised a monthly stipend of Sh15,000.
“I am honored to have been part of today’s wonderful wedding between William and Kinya. Their story of love touched us as William had been rejected by his previous fiancee for being poor. Kinya decided to look beyond his present circumstance and committed to him. They are blessed,” remarked the Nairobi Senator.
