In a veiled attacks towards those claiming that he is corrupt, Deputy President William Ruto has told his biggest critics that he may not have a god father but he has God the father.
The self proclaimed hustler was attacking those he termed as ‘Preaching Injili ya Shetani’ who think that unless your father was a minister,a vice president or a president however hard you work you must remain poor and if not a pauper you must be corrupt & have stolen.
Those running ‘injili ya shetani’that unless your father was a minister,a vice president or a president however hard you work you must remain poor and if not a pauper you must be corrupt &
have stolen, they should know that those without god fathers we have GOD the father.Shindwe— William Samoei Ruto (@WilliamsRuto) August 23, 2018
The man from Sugoi who was recently named as the most corrupt Kenyan, by IPSOS Synovate, a tag he has vehemently denied and blames it on his political detractors.
“The opinion was paid for by the political detractors of the DP who think this will help their course to the presidency. The findings are part of the political scheme by the usual failures because how do you measure perception?” Mr Ruto’s spokesman and Director of Communications at his office David Mugonyi said.
He added: “The so-called survey used data that is too politically correlated to be meaningful. At a time when people are so desperate that they want to amend the Constitution to bar the DP from running for the presidency, it should not shock anyone that a survey like this would be concocted.”
The Deputy President’s recent tweet has received a lot of support from his followers on twitter, most of whom believe that the poor in Kenya are the ones being targeted in the war against graft.
