Comedian and Radio Presenter Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o has finally set the record straight on a widely shared video of Jeff Koinange and him in a rather awkward situation during their radio show on Hot96 dubbed JeffnJalas
In the video, his co-host Jeff is seen calling his Jalang’o ‘stupid’ on a rather light note but the situation was blown out of proportion by blogs that suggested it was one of the reasons why he left Royal Media Services owned Hot96.
Jalang’o has however comeout to clear the air through an Instagram post he wrote on Sunday, where he stated that the video was taken out of context and he has no beef with Koinange.
He further reiterated that he has a good relationship with the celebrated anchor and they have mutual respect for one another.
“I have received so many calls asking me why I left Hot 96 and why I parted ways with Jeff when the show was such an amazing gig and everything was just perfect…
“Now here NOT why I left! There is this story doing rounds that Jeff abused me or called me stupid and blogs have picked it and making everyone believe that it’s the reason why I left! NO JEFF DID NOT CALL ME STUPID!” he wrote.
The comedian added: “What the blogs have done is pick a Part of our conversation and edited it to feed this lie! Jeff and I had and still do have the best relationship ever! Jeff actually knew that I was leaving and wished me well…
“I have since called Jeff and we had the best conversation and the show must and will go on without me Hot 96 is a big brand. So let no one lie to you that Jeff abused me…he would never do that because of the respect we have for each other.”
He then thanked the celebrated anchor for giving him the chance to work with him, stating that their paths will cross again.
Jalang’o called it quits at Hot 96 radio station about a week ago.He broke the news in a series of Instagram posts, the celebrated comedian announced that he has left the station, but fell short of stating why and where he is heading to.
However rumours have it that the re-known Radio presenter is now headed to Milele FM a swahili radio station owned by Media Max where he will be reuniting with longtime colleague and Radio Presenter Alex Mwakideu.
Even after clearing the air some of his loyal fans still don’t by into his explanation and this is what they had to say

Before joining Hot 96, Jalas was previously stationed at Radio Maisha which is a Swahili Radio station owned by Standard Media Group where he hosted a morning show alongside his colleague Alex Mwakideo.
After leaving the station for Hot 96 in April, Radio Maisha replaced him with Nick Odhiambo formerly of Classic105 and many have it that Nick was not able to fill in Jalas’ shoes leading to the station replacing him with Otoyo.
Damn… Now I understand why Jalang’o has left Hot 96 for Milele FM…. Imagine having to put up with this kind of disrespect every morning 😳😳😳😳😭Btw being a co-host on radio is one of the hardest jobs in life, mtu anakuja studio na stress zake🤦♂️
