Nyakundi Attacks Jalang’o, Calls him Taka taka

Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has launched a scathing attack towards Radio host and comedian Felix Oduor, popularly known as Jalang’o.

Through his twitter handle, Nyakundi said Jalang’o is taka taka. He was referring to a post Jalang’o made on his Instagram about rumors surrounding his exit from Hot 96.

As I read Instagram posts recently, I saw a long post by Jalang’o to Jeff Koinange apologizing for quitting their show without telling him. Didn’t I tell you that this guy is takataka? I mean, who does that? Nairobians you’re very pathetic people. Why you gotta be so cheap?

This writer has since found the post in question and there is no where Jalang’o is apologizing to his former co-presenter Jeff Koinange.

I have received so many calls asking me why I left Hot 96 and why I parted ways with Jeff when the show was such an amazing gig and everything was just perfect..Now here NOT why I left! There is this story doing rounds that Jeff abused me or called me stupid and blogs have picked it and making everyone be live that it's the reason why I left! NO JEFF DID NOT CALL ME STUPID! What the blogs have done is pick a Part of our conversation and edited it to feed this lie! Jeff and I had and still do have the best relationship ever! Jeff actually knew that I was leaving and wished me well…I have since called Jeff and we had the best conversation and the show must and will go on without me Hot 96 is a big brand. So let no one lie to you that Jeff abused me…he would never do that because of the respect we have for each other. @koinangeJeff again I thank you for the giving me a chance to work with you each and everyday was a movie…our paths will cross again! Much love Bro. #JeffandJalas

The comedian was only trying to address the recent rumors that he had left Hot 96’s Breakfast show because Jeff had called him stupid. He said that was not the reason he had left the station and that he and Jeff still have a good relationship ever.

‘I have received so many calls asking me why I left Hot 96 and why I parted ways with Jeff when the show was such an amazing gig and everything was just perfect..Now here NOT why I left! Jalang’o left Royal Media last week, after one year and four months co-hosting one of Kenya’s most famous radio shows. He has not yet revealed his next move but rumors have it that he will link up with his friend friend Alex Mwakideu at Milele Fm.

Mwakideu and Jalang’o spent more than three years at Radio Maisha, hosting Maisha Asubuhi, a show that attracted a very large listener-ship. Mwakideu recently quit the Standard Media owned station to join Media Max and it is rumored that the two great friends will link up again.

This is not the first time that Nyakundi has attacked  Jalang’o. Early this year, Nyakundi declared himself the boy child president, making it his duty to defend Kenyan men againts what he termed as exploitation from women.

He attacked everyone, he thought was an enemy to the boychild. It happened that one day, Jalang’o challenged Kenyan men to work hard and move away from their parents house.

But this did not go down well with the boy-child president who launched a scathing attack against the comedian.

Through his twitter handle, the blogger has disagreed with the comedian that any man at the age of 25 should not be staying with his parents. Nyakundi said that Jalang’o was a street child who was rescued by Caroline Mutoko and he should therefore not set standards.

“Naskia @JalangoMwenyewe has been saying that no man should live at their parents by age 25? Sasa si huyu kijana alikua chokoraa tu majuzi akaoshwa na @CarolineMutoko? Now he’s setting standards? Chill bro. Not everyone operates on the same cycle,” said Nyakundi.

He also added that it is no man’s choice to stay with his parent at that age but it is as a consequence of the Jubilee regime.

“No man in their right minds wants to live with their parents. But this Jubilee economy has been messed up! And unlike @JalangoMwenyewe, not everyone wants to kiss ass for career-progression,” twitted the boychild president adding that “Morons like @JalangoMwenyewe should know that Kenya is specially designed to lock out young meritorious men, and elevate mediocre self-promoters (like himself).”

Jalang’o later replied satirically that any man should not hustle but depend on the parent’s wealth.

“I am happy President knows me!..how are you Mr.president? President amesema ukitaka kulaa na kukula kwa mama yako na uoe huko kaa! Unahustle ya nini na babako ako na pesa! Kaa nyumbani! Wewe ni nani upingane na President! Uliza Miguna,” said the comedian.
