Ronaldo Reveals Where he will Retire

Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus from Real Madrid has made headlines around the world, and Jorge Mendes says that it will be the last transfer of the player’s career.

The Portuguese captain’s move to Turin was confirmed on Tuesday as the player put pen to paper on a four-year contract that will see him earn around €30 million per-year in wages from the club.

Some have thought that the player may look to move on to a club in China or the MLS in America. While he will be 38 by the end of his contract, the player is known to take exemplary care of his diet and fitness and as a result could play on for many years to come.

However, the player’s agent and great friend Jorge Mendes does not think that such a move will take place, and that he will end his career with the ‘Old Lady’.

“Juventus will be his last club and I’m glad he made this decision. With this team he’ll close out his marvellous career.” the super-agent said.

Mendes went on to thank Juventus’s hierarchy, namely their president Andrea Agnelli and general manager Beppe Marotta, for their work to finalise the deal.

The agent is reported to have received a fee of £10.6 million from the transfer, which goes some way to explaining why he was so happy at its completition.
