Real Madrid Star Joins Dortmund

The arrival of Alvaro Odriozola at Santiago Bernabeu closed doors to Achraf who barely played last season.

The Moroccan was looking for an exit, which he hoped would help him relaunch his career.

Brought up through Los Blancos academy, Achraf went into the first team where he had to fight for a position with Dani Carvajal.

However, Zidane never really used him as the alternative, instead opting for Nacho or other players to replace the Spaniard.

He’s played around 1315 minutes in 17 games last season, during which he scored two goals and made an assist.

Although the young player has always shown a desire to succeed in Madrid, the club have decided to send the player to Germany for the next two seasons to continue his growth.

In this sense, Achraf will follow in the footsteps of Carvajal who joined Bayer Leverskusen in the 2012-13 season, playing 36 games, scoring a goal and offering seven assists.

“Real Madrid CF and Borussia Dortmund have agreed to the loan of player Achraf for the next two seasons,” the club wrote in a short statement.
