Another Real Madrid Star to follow Cristiano Out

Coleman, who managed Bale for his national team for 5 years, told ‘Sky Sports’ that he does not know whether the winger will still be at the club next season.

The Welshman has found it hard to replicate the form he showed in 2013-14 as he helpeed his side to winning the Champions League and Copa del Rey, scoring a memorable goal in the final of the latter.

Bale has been plagued by injuries over the last few seasons, always impeding his progress back to his peak just as he is showing promise.

However, last season he managed to make 39 appearances for the club and scored 21 goals, including a stunning over-head kick in the Champions League final against Liverpool.

With Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus being confirmed on Tuesday, it seems that the former Tottenham player will become the new main man at the Bernabeu.

While this may be the case, Coleman doesn’t rule out a move elsewhere for the player.

“Players always have something to prove but I think whatever he decides on, wherever his future is – and it could still be Real Madrid next season or it could be somewhere else – he’s done a fantastic job with Madrid,” the former Sunderland manager said.

“I know he is happy there and has been happy there but it is impossible to tell what the future holds for anybody.”
