Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele has said that he will prove himself for the club next season.
The forward endured a frustrating start to life at the Camp Nou this season with an injury-hit campaign, but he wants to put that behind him and demonstrate his true capabilities with the ‘Blaugrana’ next season.
“It’s been a difficult season with a lot of injuries. Everyone believes in me there and we’re going to see how things go after the World Cup,” he explained.
“I’ve learned a lot tactically and defensively, although there we tend to have a lot of the ball. It’s important not to lose the ball and you have to be very careful about that. We have to be united.”
Dembele appears to be regaining something like his best form with the French national side. He scored in the recent 3-1 friendly win over Italy. He will hope to come from Russia a world cup winner.
