Reports from UK are saying that Chelsea have agreed a deal with Laurent Blanc to be their new manager. It is believed that Chelsea were not ready to pay Napoli seven million pounds for the release of Mauricio Sarri.
Former Barcelona Manager Luis Enrique priced himself out of the job and the club remained with Blanc as their only choice.
The London club is looking to replace Antonio Conte.
Blanc had reasonable success at Bordeaux, the French national side and also PSG. He has knowledge of football at the highest level, and has experience both as a central defender and as a creative midfielder. He should be able to play attractive football, something which Roman Abramovich wants from his managers.
The former PSG manager has been out of job for two years.
