Arsenal are one of four clubs interested interested in signing Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson.

France Football report that Tottenham are currently leading the race for the player, although their bid largely depends on whether Mauricio Pochettino is still manager next season. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Chelsea and Sevilla are all also following the player.

The report was written by Arnaud Tulipier, adding an extra layer of credibility to it. Tulipier was first to reveal Marseille’s interest in Sanson when they signed him, back in January 2017.

Sanson had the most impressive season of his young career last season at least in front of goal. He scored 12 and assisted three over the course of the campaign, the first time his season goal tally has ever reached double figures.

The midfielder also contributed well defensively, and made a massive 53 appearances over the year. Unfortunately it ended in disappointment, as Marseille lost out to Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final.
