Tottenham coach Pochettino favourite to replace Zidane

Reports in the Spanish media this afternoon, says Mauricio Pochettino, the coach of Tottenham Hotspur, has emerged as the clear and overwhelming favourite to replace Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, following the latter’s resignation a short time ago.

Zidane took over the reigns at the Bernabeu in 2016, having lined out as a player for Real from 2001-2006.And the Frenchman since went on to enjoy a historic stint in charge of Los Blancos, having racked up a La Liga title, Spanish Super Cup, and, incredibly, 3 straight Champions League crowns.

The latest of these came last weekend in Kiev, when Los Merengues put Premier League outfit Liverpool to the sword by 3 goals to 1.
