The friendly match pitting England and Costa Rica will be officiated by Japanese referee Hiroyuki Kimura together with his assistants following a request by head coach Gareth Southgate to have the match officiated by an Asian referee.
Southgate requested for an Asia referee so that he would prepare his players in all aspect, including refereeing different styles of refereeing.
Kimura is an experience referee in the Far East though he will not be at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
