Sofapaka ready to splash 54 M for Ugandan coach

Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka is reportedly eyeing to capture  Kirinya-Jinja S.S FC head coach Charles Ayiekho “Mbuzzi” Lukula, Kawowo reports.

John Baraza is the current coach at Sofapaka FC following the resignation of Ugandan tactician Sam Ssimbwa who quit the club in March.

Batoto Ba Mungu are seeking to push for the title they last won in 2009 and they believe the Jinja boss will be a big boost.

Lukula has admitted being contacted by the club but has maintained that he will only leave if the side his contract is bought.

“The truth is that my agent has received offers and notified me but I am still under contract at Kirinya-Jinja S.S Football Club unless it is bought out or the clubs agree on mutual consent, ” he told Kawowo.

The outlets reports Sofapaka will splash $15000 (at least Ugandan Shs 54M) as sign on fees.
