Harambee Stars fans to wait longer for ‘beast’ Wanyama

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama will not be part of the Harambee Stars that will play in the upcoming friendlies against Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea.

Wanyama had minimal playtime at in the concluded season due to a knee injury he picked against Chelsea in the first leg meeting.

He has revealed that his club has communicating with the federation and he is to be allowed to recover from the knew injury

“I think my club has talked to the federation, I need to rest because my knee has not completely healed. I have also spoken to the (Harambee Stars) coach about it,” said Wanyama.

In the absence of Wanyama AFC Leopards captain Duncan Otieno is likely to have playtime.
