Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey says it’s unfortunate that Ghana missed out on the World Cup slot.
Ghana finished second behind Egypt who topped their pool for a place in the World Cup.
He said:’It was unfortunate that Ghana will not be at the World Cup. We tried our best but we were not good enough. That’s behind us now. We will look forward to the future. I congratulate the teams going to the World Cup.”
Ghana will be hoping to book a place in the AFCON 2019. They are banded alongside Kenya, Ethiopia and Serria Leone in the Qualifiers.
