In what may lead to heartbreak among many AFC Leopards fans, skipper Duncan Otieno has announced that the 2017 Kenya Premier League season is likely to be his final year at the den. He said that irrespective of a two-year contract with Leopards, he was determined to pursue his dream.
He said: “ If you a good player, you will always get offers and my case is no different. I can reveal I have received offers from five clubs and that is why I am revealing that this could be my final season at Leopards despite having two years on my contract. I feel I have come of age and ready to play at any level. Leopards are a big club and they have given me the platform to express myself and to lead my teammates. The decision to leave at the end of the season has not been an easy one for me.”
