Barcelona silences The Brazilians at home

FC Barcelona emerged comfortable 3-1 winners over hosts Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nelson Mandela Centenary Cup exhibition match on Wednesday 16th 2018.

Goals from Ousmane Dembélé, Luis Suárez and André Gomes saw the visitors ease to victory despite the hosts taking the game to the Catalans early in the match.

The Brazilians were however quickly pushed back, though, when a sloppy clearance from Bangaly Soumahoro fell to Ousmane Dembele, who blasted into the top corner on three minutes.

Uruguayian Luis Suarez then stretched the lead moments later creating an opportunity to make up for his earlier missed one finishing coolly through the legs of Denis Onyango following a well-executed move on 18 minutes.

Barcelona showed stability despite making a milliard of changes in the second half and they added a third after another defensive lapse, which Andre Gomes capitalized on to curl past Kennedy Mweene on 66th minute.
