ODM leader Raila Odinga on Friday shared an emotional message during the Precious Talent Requiem Mass held at Ngong Racecourse for the eight pupils that died during the tragedy.
Raila, through a tweet, stated that the eight would be missed as the community was robbed of innocent souls.
The ODM leader added that the pupils remained a part of their lives even in the absence.

Raila, who was joined by Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris, Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga and Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, was moved after a small girl recited an emotional poem while shedding tears.
The girl identified as Abilasha Muthoni, had a brief moment with the leader who embraced her.
During the ceremony, as part of the gesture towards the bereaved families, the veteran politician revealed that him and President Uhuru Kenyatta had donated money to help the affected people.
According to Raila, Uhuru gave Ksh 2 million where Ksh 1 million would be used by the affected families while the other Ksh 1 million will be utilised for the construction of the school.
The former Prime Minister on his part contributed Ksh 1 million that would also go the construction of the school.
He further explained that the Head of State had promised to set up a public school at Lenana High School and a temporary structure at the school at Ngando Ward, so that children could continue with their education without problems.
Raila called for competence from safety inspectors where they should not approve substandard buildings.
