In May, Flying Squad boss told journalists that there is an organised gang in Nairobi County that steals vehicles, dismantle them and sell the spare parts.

He made the claims after four suspects were arrested after police recovered a vehicle that had been stolen dismantled in Ngong area, Nairobi.

Dismantling the vehicles makes it harder for police to trace the stolen vehicles.

Meanwhile, detectives on Thursday arrested four suspects in connection after seizing fake 1 million U.S. dollars and 147 gold bars in Kilimani, Nairobi.

Police confiscated the fake cash and gold hidden in a safe at Plan 254 Club.
