Good morning,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend. Unfortunately, a family in Vihiga County had a weekend to forget after losing their kin in painful circumstances.

A woman died after spending hours pleading with hospital staff to attend to her. According to a video that has gone viral on social media, the woman desperately cried for help, writhing in pain as she waited in the hospital’s waiting bay.

Nobody was ready to attend to her and at the end, she passed on, exposing the poor emergency response systems in our hospitals.

Do you think the devolution of health services is working? Or should we just revert to the central government?

We will be discussing these and other hot topics on Opera News, make sure you’re logged in.
