A 38 year old man was today arraigned in Homa Bay law Courts charged with incest Contrary to the Sexual Offences Act.
The accused person Charles Odhong’ was charged that on the September 18 this year at Kamamba Village in Rangwe Sub County of Homa Bay County, he had carnal knowledge of his daughter and also touched her private parts.
The accused also faced alternative charges of committing an indecent act with a child contrary to Sexual offenses Act No 3 of 2006 besides assaulting her.
The accused denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Ruth Maloba who gave him a bond of Sh 100,000 with similar surety of the same amount.
The accused person was unable to raise the bond and remanded at Homa Bay GK Prison until October 22 this year when his case will come up for hearing.
This case comes barely a month after a middle aged man was also charged in Homa Bay Law Court for defiling his daughter aged 12 years at Kanyany Village of Rangwe Sub County in Homa Bay County.
