Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has, on Thursday, released the judicial decision that shows that the centre is guilty of behaving in a manner which goes against the sport’s rules and guidelines.
“The Person (Tyson Asiago) is suspended from all Rugby activity for a period of 24 weeks, effective from the date of this decision. Should the Person be found in breach during this period, further orders shall be issued,” the panel’s decision read in parts.
Proceedings were instituted against the player after the Kenya Rugby Referee Association accused him of hurling a stone at the match official.
According to the submission made, Asiago was identified by the Match referee Linus Kinuthia as the person who threw a stone that narrowly missed him and hit Match official Duncan Kioko.
This comes barely a day after Kenya Harlequin head coach Charles Cardovillis and team manager Godfrey Okoth were also suspended for 12 weeks from all rugby activities for misconduct.
