The National Census is set to take place on the 24th of August all through to 31st August and knowing how Kenyans like to live it up during the weekends. The Government is keen on sensitising Kenyans to stay put at their homes as the process takes place this weekend.
But I can’t help but wonder where you will be this weekend or rather the situation you will be in. Most times, Kenyans are either living it up in the club scenes, being promiscuous or spending time with the family.
While some are not even sure where they will be during this period, below are some likely scenarios you might find yourself in this weekend:
These are the :
- Chilling with the family
This will be the setting as of Friday night. Parents and their children gathered at the house as they await the enumerators. Also, a chance for people to get to know each other.
2. Netflix and chill
Unlike those who are married and have families. There are a number of people who are single and live on their own. Therefore, the order of the day will include watching movies, series or Youtube videos to pass time.
3. There will be no side chick manenos
Yes, I said it. Hahaha those who are promiscuous are going to miss out on their escapades this weekend. Unless you are ready to state how many wives you have.
Others felt they would spend their census weekend in the following ways:
Not even sure where I’ll be. This #Census2019 could be a mess like the much hyped huduma namba (which I never registered for). The government should not appear like they’re forcing us to be counted, they should instead request/persuade us. #Breakfast984 @984inthemorning
