All human beings are selfish in nature and there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a bit selfish. While most of the people explore ways to save some money, there are things in our life that are worth spending a bit of your cash.

There are things that do not cost much but can really make you or people around you, happier and healthier. Ladies for years have not struggled with grooming as much as men do. Gone are the days when using a hot -comb or owning a blowdry was the only ideal way to see you through a function.

Many women have heightened their grooming levels, majority making their way into high-end saloons just to get their hair done. Everyone has a preference and it’s best we respected people’s taste, right?

Let’s talk about these high end salons I.e Flair by Betty,Posh Palace ,name them.
Would you pay expensive to get their services whereas you know in your mtaa or even town cbd the prices are affordable?
Like wash and blow/set for 1500-2500

Treatment for 3k
Plaiting 5-8k
Etc

I understand if you spend such a business person you’ll get good referrals and business and associate with people of that class.

Would you consider having your hair done in these top premises? Here are what Kenyan ladies say.

  • Shiroelle Muriuki I wouldn’t
  • Flo Kalekye Class my dear, there a place for everyone.
  • Monicah Neemoh Lanes my friend ~ in most instances the clients there are also hunting for potential clients/connections. You don’t expect to meet “who is who” in the society kwa Nail spa ya 500. Others try to maintain a certain image which they portray ~ woe unto you if you are a wannabe coz you will go broke trying to look rich.
Val Ngari Lanes my friend….. Lanes!!! For someone to pay 3k for treatment and so on, they most probably earn or are accustomed an income that can allow that lifestyle..I believe in living within my means… Kama lane yangu sio posh palace, let me go to where I can afford
  • Lilian W Ngenia I went to Flair by Betty for wash and set for my weave and I met Amina hehehe anyway I love their services
  • Makena Wangari Honestly with all the drama and masengenyano plus kugawa piece in mtaa saloons, I would give anything not to experience all that. Now that I can’t afford those places, let me just go to my barber in peace, in and out in 10 minutes without being talked to, just salams
  • Maureen Obiero I would gladly the places why not..yawaaa!
