Orange Democratic Leader (ODM) Raila Odinga’s grand reception to Governor Josphat Nanok’s backyard could not blind him from attacking his party’s former vice-chair for crossing over to Deputy President William Ruto’s camp.

Speaking during the Turkana Annual Fete on Friday, Raila teased Nanok after he lamented that he does not know why the ODM Party decided to kick him out.

Raila went on to question why his friend the Turkana County boss is crying yet it is him who announced that he has joined the other team, that is, Ruto’s Tanga Tanga camp and dumped Raila.

He said they are ready to accommodate him again if he wishes to come back.

“I was invited for Turkana Cultural fete, to celebrate but Nanok has lectured me. It’s clear Nanok publicly left the party after decided to join Tanga Tanga movement and it’s even in the Media,” Raila said.

Raila was responding to Nanok who snubbed the party on the former Prime Minister’s face where he insisted he is still the ODM vice chairman since right measures were not followed while kicking him out.

Nanok went further to snub Ruto after he pledged his allegiance to Raila and the ODM claiming that all the political mileage he has made it is because of Raila.

ODM on June 27 announced Nanok’s replacement where it accused him of shifting allegiance to Dr. Ruto, Raila political ‘enemy’.

“Following numerous public pronouncements that he has quit the ODM Party, the NEC has unanimously resolved to replace H.E. Gov. Josphat Nanok as the party Vice Chairman with Loima MP Hon. Jeremiah Lomorukai. He was welcomed to the NEC by the party leader Raila Odinga,” reads the tweet by the ODM Party.
