Kenyans on Twitter have ignited a keyboard battle with women leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto over corruption allegations.
Using hashtag #TangatangaSlayQueens the women legislators belonging to a group dubbed ‘Inua Mama’ was put on the spot over corruption allegations facing them.
Among those targetted is Uasin Gishu Women Rep Gladdy Shollei whose Sh2.207 billion fraud allegation while in the Judiciary Service Commission has come back to haunt her.
The former Judiciary Chief Registrar was sacked in 2013 after she admitted to 33 allegations in which Sh1.7 billion got lost.

The angry tweeps reminded Kenyans of Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika’s husband who is among 15 officials facing charges for allegedly defrauding the government of Sh64 million.
Samuel Mburu, Susan Kihika’s husband, among other officials of the Kenya Bureau of Standards, are facing charges of colluding with three companies to undervalue imported goods.
Among other Tanga Tanga women leaders put on the spot are Laikipia Women Rep Cate Waruguru, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, and Kandara MP Alice Wahome.

This is coming after the legislators meeting in Nyeri on Friday was disrupted by goons over allegations that it was propelling early politicking and efforts to undermine President Uhuru Kenyatta’s agenda.
A few minutes after it started, the meeting turned chaotic when a section of the women engaged in a shouting match with youth who they accused of attempting to disrupt the meeting.
The meeting called for police interruption where several youths were arrested and calm was briefly restored.
