Has ‘Wamblambez’ Nation become too much?

Its been a few months since the infamous song ‘Wamlambez Wamyonyez ‘ came out and took over Kenya like a stom. The song has garnered so much fame even worldwide where the likes of Christina Milian and Jamie Foxx have even joined the bandwagon of the now National Slogan.

The song has literally brought people together in a setting and has allowed the peak of Kenyan togetherness to reach its heights. This has paved way for the new and upcoming artists who have come up with similar songs such as ‘pekejeng’ and ‘peleka na rieng’ But how far is too far?

Recently a video went viral of a burial with the songs playing in the background and those in attendance chanting the words to the songs and dancing about which as caused an uproar on Social Media as to how far it goes with the song.

Kenyans quickly took to social media to express their thoughts.
