Kenyans give mixed reactions after Harambee Stars skipper Victor Wanyama moved to court to lament about the use of his image against his will.
The Tottenham star has reportedly sued Menengai company for using his image in a tweet on June 21st. This was the day the Africa Cup of Nations kicked off in Egypt.

According to reports, the 28-year-old feels that the post was not actually used to wish the Kenyan team good luck but to promote Menengai Oils business. He feels that the use of his image against his wish infringes his rights.
But Kenyans have different opinions regarding the move with some bashing him for using an orthodox means to gain money.
I don’t read any bad intentions on this picture, but Wanyama going to court for this, bro unatuangusha pia. This not just anybody wishing you all the best, but its a brand on its own, this not an advert
