July 26th was such a great day for Uganda as they flooded Sheraton Hotel to witness the crowning of Miss Uganda 2019 where Zari Hassan and Anita Fabiola announced the winner.
Miss Uganda…the queen, the lady that will be representing Uganda’s miss world is!… Put your hands together for,…Nyakakande Oliver!
Anita Fabiola announced sending the crowd into a frenzy. People clapped, Ululated and whistled as they celebrated Oliver who beat a whooping 21 contestants and took over the Miss Uganda crown from Quin Abenakyo- the 2018/2019 Miss Uganda.

The pageant took place at Kampala Sheraton Hotel gardens on Friday night, in a fully packed venue where the regular team could hardly see the stage.
It was a night of fun as people danced to various Ugandan songs before crowning Miss Uganda.
However, before the crowning of Oliver, There a commotion where Zari and Fabiola seemed to have clashed over who was supposed to read the names of the winners.
Although Zari tried to explain to fans that she was just pulling a stunt trying to see how Anita Fabiola would react, some people could not bear with her and branded her disrespectful and full of pride.
