Raila Odinga has always got it right but not this time round. Kenyans have given Raila a dressing-down for asking President Uhuru Kenyatta to consider Peter Kenneth for a government position.

Speaking at the burial of Kenneth’s mother, Mama Rahab Wambui, in Murang’a County, Raila heaped praise on the former Gatanga MP, describing him as a gentleman with vast experience who deserves a role in government.

Kenyans on social media have asked Uhuru to consider giving Peter Kenneth a job as ‘the Official Opposition leader.’ This is perhaps a direct shot aimed at Raila who ‘surrendered’ his position as the official opposition leader after the Handshake.

Most youths are crying over the state of unemployment in the country yet Raila who was once considered their saviour has turned his back against them.
So Peter Kenneth, a billionaire who owns properties, insurance company, banks has got Raila begging on his behalf for the president to give him a job.

Peter Kenneth is a former MP, a former presidential Candidate and there is a possibility he owns a Bank and an insurance firm.

Raila as if just telling Uhuru to give Peter Kenneth a job is not enough, went ahead to give details why he deserves that state appointment.
“He (Kenneth) has worked for the government before, in the banking and insurance sectors. He also loves football and that is something we have in common…”
All those praises still have not made sense to angry unemployed Kenyans. They have gone ahead to accuse Raila of practicing blind politics.
